Volunteer with CURTIS PTA
What makes our PTA great is all of the wonderful parents and community members that share their time throughout the year. Usually, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities in terms of time commitment, time of year commitment and project scope so that there is something for everyone’s skills and schedules. Pinellas County School Volunteer Policy
Pinellas County School Volunteers – All volunteers must be background screened approved prior to volunteering. All volunteers are required to sign in at the school front office, wear a volunteer/school name tag and/or Level 2 badge while on campus or at a school sponsored event. Volunteers are required to log all volunteer hours in the volunteer system. To log your volunteer hours use the Firefox browser, go to https://focus.pcsb.org/volunteer . Please do not use mobile devices to sign onto the volunteer system.
New volunteers must complete the online volunteer registration form. A level 1 background screening will be done by the district office. It is required that prior to obtaining a level 2 screening your level 1 background must be approved first. More information can be found here https://www.pcsb.org/Page/459
Returning volunteers must reactivate their volunteer status prior to volunteering. To activate your volunteer account go to https://focus.pcsb.org/volunteer Using your v.account and password to reactivate – if you do not know the user ID and Password please call the school you are volunteering at. In most cases your user id is comprised of the letter V and your last name, first initial.
User name example: v.smithw
Your password if your last name (first letter capitalized), immediately followed by your four digit year of birth.
Password example: Smith1975
